In their final road game of the season, the Lancer Football program fell 55-5 to the Queen's Gaels on Saturday afternoon at Richardson Stadium.

With the loss, the Lancers fall to 2-5 while the Gaels improve to 3-4 on the year and into a playoff position.

The Gaels built a 26 point lead in the second quarter before Lancer kicker
Clark Green drove the ball 37-yards through the uprights to get the Lancers on the board. The Gaels then conceded a safety in the fourth quarter to give the Blue & Gold their other two points.

Casey Wright and
Jalen Brady shared quarterback duties and together went 8-for-21 and 102 yards. On the ground
Tarrence Crawford led the way with 58 yards, while
Cassell Jones led the Lancer receivers with 3 receptions and 45 yards.

The Blue & Gold return home next Saturday, October 22nd, for their final home game of the regular season. They will host the Laurier Golden Hawks at 1:00pm on Minor Football Day.

All minor football players in Windsor & Essex County receive free admission to the game if they wear their team jersey to the game. Gates open at 12:00pm.
