Box Score The 2016 season came to an end on Saturday afternoon for the Lancer football program, after falling 38-9 to the visiting Laurier Golden Hawks at Alumni Field.
 
The loss gives Windsor a 2-6 record, and sits them just out of a playoff spot in the OUA standings.
 
Windsor's lone touchdown came late in the game when rookie Chris Tannous caught his first OUA career touchdown, a seven yard pass from Casey Wright with 2:26 left in regulation.
 
Quarterback Jalen Brady led the Lancer offence going 10-16-1 for 86 yards, while first year Lancer Cassell Jones caught for 41 yards on four catches. On the ground, Tarrence Crawford led the way with 68 yards on 18 carries.

Prior to the game, the Lancers honoured their graduating seniors which included Randy Beardy, Joe Iatzko, Frank Renaud, Anthony Malandruccolo, Casey Wright, Jeff Masson, Nick Vincent, David Flewelling, Travis Durocher, Scott McEwen, Matt Lefler, and Greg Bolger.
