The Lancer men's basketball team defeated the Toronto Varsity Blues 86-84 on Wednesday night at the Goldring Centre in Toronto.

With the win, the Lancers are 4-3 in the regular season and sit in second in the OUA west division, while the Blues are also 4-3 and sit in second in the east.

With the Lancers up 84-81 with 11.8 seconds to go, Toronto's Seun Olutogun drained a game-tying three to even the score at 84-84. However, a foul called on the Blues gave
Mike Rocca the game-winning free throws.

Micqueel Martin paced the Lancers with 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while
Luke Allin, playing in his first game for the Blue & Gold, notched 18 points in the victory.

Forward Devin Johnson led the Blues with 23 points and seven boards, while Sage Usher tallied 18 points and seven boards.
