The Lancer men's hockey team fell 6-2 to the Guelph Gryphons on Thursday night in game one of the first round of the OUA playoffs in Guelph.
With the loss, the Lancer fall behind 0-1 to the Gryphons in the best of three series.
The Gryphons scored three unanswered goals in the first period and added a fourth just 18 seconds into the middle period before the Lancers found the back of the net.
Justice Dundas capitalized on Windsor's third power play of the game to score his first OUA post season goal and spoil Andrew D'Agostini's attempt at a shut out.
Sebastien Beaugregard scored the other Lancer goal late in the third period, while
Michael Doan and
Blake Richard shared the loss in net.
The Lancers will now look to even the series on Saturday February 20th when they host game two of the series. The puck is set to drop at 7:30pm at South Windsor Arena and can be seen live at www.oua.tv.
