In the final game of Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend, the Lancer men's basketball team defeated the visiting Nipissing Lakers 93-71 on Saturday night at the St. Denis Centre.

The win was the Lancers fourth straight and helps them hold onto first place in the west division with a 9-6 record, two points ahead of the Western Mustangs.

Four Lancers hit double digits and were led by
Alex Campbell with a game high 27 points.
Marko Kovac had another outstanding day on the floor registering 24 points, while
Isiah Osborne had 18 points and
Tyler Persaud had 12 points.

Ismael Kaba came off the bench to lead the Lakers with 17 points, while Marcus Lewis finished the game with 12 points.

Nipissing shot an impressive 63.2% from behind the three point line to keep the game close right through into the fourth quarter. The Lancers capitalized on Nipissing's 21 turnovers to score 29 points and secure the win.
