The Lancer women's soccer team remains undefeated on the season after a scoreless draw against the Western Mustangs on Wednesday night in London.

With the tie, the Lancers are now 1-0-2 on the year and continue to share the second place spot in the standings with the Mustangs.

Windsor played an organized game, were strong defensively and were always on the counter attack. Goaltender
Krystin Lawrence played an aggressive game from the net, at one point shooting out into packs of athletes to intercept a corner kick.

Although they only had one shot on net in the first half, the Lancers, found their way to the opposite end of the field throughout the second half.
Kristyn Hodgins twice carried the ball down to the purple and white end, though neither of her shots resulted in a goal. In both cases, Western's defence blocked the shot and sent the ball back to midfield.

Windsor will now break until September 10th when they travel to Sault Ste. Marie, ON to take on the Algoma Thunderbirds for a weekend doubleheader.
