The Lancer women's soccer team remain undefeated on the season after a pair of dominating victories over the Algoma Thunderbirds on the weekend in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
Windsor is now 3-0-2 on the season and in third place in the OUA west division standings. They now head to Waterloo this coming weekend to face the Laurier Golden Hawks and Waterloo Warriors.
In Saturday's 9-2 victory,
Abby Hunt led the way for the Blue & Gold with a hat trick, while senior Becca Feurth added a pair. Other goal scorers included
Jazmin Martin, and a trio of rookies;
Chelsea Zavitz,
Alexandria Caputo, and
Kristyn Hodgins.
Goaltenders
Krystin Lawrence and Kristy Brooks shared the win in net.
On Sunday, the Lancers continued to dominate the Thunderbirds, coming away with an 11-0 win.
Cassie Chretien led the way with 2 goals and an assist, while Feurth added another two, and Hunt scored her fourth of the weekend. Hodgins,

Abigail Palombo, Corrine Robinson all added singles for the Lancers.
Brooks was solid in net for the Lancers earning her first OUA career shutout.
Windsor will now face the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm, followed by the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday in Waterloo.
