In their first home games since opening weekend in August, the Lancer men's soccer team came away with a point following a scoreless draw against the No. 1 ranked York Lions.

Windsor also fell 2-1 to the Guelph Gryphons on Sunday afternoon, and are 3-4-2 on the season to sit in sixth spot in the OUA west division.

Kyle Vizirakis kept the Lancers in the competition with a number of diving saves. Windsor out-shot the visitors 4-2 in the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, Windsor was stuck on their own side of the field for a majority of the second half and were not able to get a scoring opportunity until the 75th minute, which went wide of the net.

On Sunday, Conor O'Callaghan got Guelph got on the board 27 minutes into the game off a header that came in off a corner kick.

Windsor struggled to gain control in the midfield, which made it difficult for them to keep possession of the ball.

Guelph went up two goals when Jalen Noronha capitalized on poor ball clearance from the Lancer defenders .
Iyowuna Jumbo scored for Windsor on a penalty shot in the 90th minute to close out the contest.

Windsor will hit the road once again when they travel to St. Catharine's next weekend to face the Brock Badgers on Saturday afternoon, and then will head over to Hamilton to face the McMaster Marauders on Sunday.
