The Lancer men's hockey team split their weekend road trip against the Brock Badgers and Guelph Gryphons.

On Friday night, Windsor was shutout by the Badgers 4-0 before scoring five goals Saturday to defeat the host Gryphons 5-3.

Windsor is now 2-3-1 on the season and in a four-way tie for fifth place in the OUA west divison standings.

Friday vs Brock
After a scoreless opening 20 minutes, Brock got on the board first at 6:35 into the second period with a goal from Matt McLeod. Just 25 seconds later, Ayden MacDonald gave the Badgers a 2-0 lead.

Four minutes into the third period, the Badgers took a 3-0 lead and then with the Windsor net empty, rookie Connor Brown would secure the victory with an empty netter.

Blake Richard registered 30 saves in the loss while Brock starter Clint Windsor recorded 33 saves for the shutout victory.
