The Lancer women's hockey team lost their final two games of 2017 this weekend at South Windsor Arena. Windsor fell 4-1 to Laurentian on Friday night before dropping a 9-3 decision to the first place Nipissing Lakers.

FRIDAY vs LAURENTIAN
Three goals in the second period lifted the visiting Voyageurs over the Lancers. Samantha Morell scored at 9:42 of the middle frame to give Laurentian a 1-0 lead. Windsor didn't waste any time tying it up, however, as
Muna Fadel scored her third of the year to tie it up.

Ellery Veerman then scored a pair of goals to give the Voyageurs a 3-1 lead heading into the third period. Abbey Caldwell scored in the final period to secure the win for the visitors.

SATURDAY vs NIPISSING
Nipissing took a three goal lead before the Lancers were able to get on the board. Windsor's
Emily Bowman and
Amy Maitre then scored a pair of back to back goals in the second period to bring the game within one.

The visitors, however, were able to score four goals before the Lancers found the back of the net again.
Hailey Cloutier scored her first goal of the OUA season at 10:55 of the period.

Nipissing would score two more goals before the close of the game to solidify their victory.
