FRIDAY VS TORONTO

Â
In the second period the Lancers broke the tie when
Muna Fadel scored off a nice feed from Ashely Maitre nine seconds into the second frame. The lead however, would not last long, when not even 10 minutes later, Meagan O'Brien beat Jenkins on an impressive short-handed, to score an unassisted goal. With 2:45 left in the game Mathilde De Serres scored to give the Varsity Blues a lead late in the second period. Despite the Lancers having an entire period to muster a goal, the Blues' defense proved too strong, keep the Lancers at bay and winning the game 2-1.Lancer goaltender
Molly Jenkins put forth an impressive effort, stopping 25 of the 27 shots she faced. Toronto's Madeline Albert stopped 15 of the 16 shots that came her way.
