The Lancer women's volleyball team split a pair of weekend road games. Windsor handed the Waterloo Warriors their first home loss of the season with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 28-26) victory over the hosts before falling 3-0 (12-25, 23-20, 20-25) to the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday afternoon.

With four games left in the regular season, the Lancers are 5-10 on the year and sit in fifth place in the west division.

Jade Ziebrath had nine kills and one block against Waterloo while
Emily McCloskey was big at the net with five blocks.Â

Against Guelph,
Lexi Pollard and Rachel Cauchi each had six kills to lead the way for the Blue & Gold, with
Carleigh Bailey had 17 digs on the defensive side of the ball.

Windsor will return home next week for their final home games of the regular season. They will host the Toronto Varsity Blues on Friday night and the Trent Excalibur on Saturday. Both games are scheduled for 6:00pm at the St. Denis Centre. Prior to their game against Trent, the Lancers will honour their graduating seniors.
