The Lancer men's soccer team split the weekend at home. Windsor fell 3-2 to the McMaster Marauders on Saturday before rebounding with a 4-1 win over the Brock Badgers on Sunday.
Â
With the split, the Lancers now have a record of 4-6-1 on the season, sitting in the middle of the pack at 5th place in the West.
Â
SATURDAY vs McMASTER
The Lancers fell behind in the first half of the game, allowing McMaster a single goal in the half. They were able to come out strong in the second half of their match, with
Dylan Satto tying up the game at one a piece in the 57th minute.
Â
However, just four minutes later the Marauders came back to once again take the lead.
Sid Pandey would tie it up again for the Blue & Gold but for the second time in the half, the Marauders retaliated with another marker to earn the 3-2 win. Unfortunately, McMaster would come back to answer with a goal of their own, after each of the Lancer goals, leading to a 3-2 final score for the visitors.
