FRIDAY @ Windsor
Western wasted no time getting on the scoreboard early in the match, as Morgan Asling scored off a corner kick. However,
Abby Hunt responded for the Blue & Gold midway through the half with her first goal of the season to tie the game at one goal apiece heading into halftime.
Both squads fought for the goal ahead goal in the second half, with Hunt creating a number of opportunities for Windsor. Western also had a number of shots, but Lancer keeper
Kristina Brooks turned aside every attempt.
SUNDAY @ Western
Windsor's aggressive defense posed as a strong adversary for the Mustangs, but an inability to create chances of their own left both teams heading into halftime facing a 0-0 tie. Western's offense wasted no time getting on the board in the second half with a foul kick that led to them taking a one goal lead, that was followed by a second goal from Sophie Weaver. With twenty minutes left in the game, Western brought the game to its final score of 3-0 with an additional goal.
