Coming off a three-game win streak, the Lancers men's hockey team faced off against the Brock Badgers in St. Catharine's, where they lost 4-0.
 
The game puts Windsor in fourth place with a 7-4 season record, while the Badgers sit in second place, 8-3.
 
GAME STATS
The Lancers penalty kill saw a lot of ice time with Windsor making seven trips to the penalty box. The unit managed to kill six, only giving up one goal.
 
Badgers goaltender played a great game, stopping 32 shots to shut out the Lancers.
 
GAME FLOW
After controlling most of the opening period, the Lancers took two back to back penalties, giving the Badgers a long five on three power play. With only a second left before the first Windsor penalty expired, Dexter Weber put the first points on the board for Brock.
 
After their goal, the Badgers began to control the rest of the period, trapping the Lancers in their own zone.
 
An early second period penalty saw the Badgers go on another power play. While the Lancers managed to kill this one off, the Badgers continued to control the flow of the game.
 
Reinhart stood on his head to escape the period with the Lancers still only trailing by one.
 
The Badgers put their second goal past Jonathan Reinhart early in the third, carrying their momentum out of the break.
 
The blue and gold made multiple trips to the penalty box, forcing them to play shorthanded for the majority of the period, including another five on three opportunity for the Badgers.
 
While they managed to kill the penalties, the closing minutes saw Brandon O'Quinn score the third goal for Brock, putting the puck just over the shoulder of Reinhart.
 
Brody Silk found the empty net to end the game 4-0 for the Badgers.
