The Windsor Lancers were on the road for the second time in as many days as they headed to Guelph to take on the Gryphons. The Lancers, who sit first in the OUA West came into the game looking to maintain their lead on the division and keep their winning ways going after yesterday's four set win over the Warriors in Waterloo. The Lancers had to battle hard for each set but got it done in three, 25-20, 28-26, 25-21.

GAME STATS
Pierce Johnson had a great day for the Lancers, leading all players with 15 kills. Guelph's best weapon was Zarko Ubiparip with 11 kills.

Nolan Langley was the best teammate on the floor dishing out 31 assists while Olivier Hissink led Guelph with 28.

The Lancers had a great day at the net, edging Guelph in the Block margin 8-3.

GAME FLOW
The Lancers and Gryphons were locked in a tight one as the Lancers lead was kept slim by the Gryphons. However, the Lancers played some great defense, forcing the Gryphons to make six errors as Windsor took the set 25-20.

The second set belonged to the Gryphons early on as Windsor grappled for control. The Lancers went in to the technical timeout down 16-13, however, the lead for the Gryphons wouldn't last. The Lancers battled hard to take the set to extra points where they gutted out a tough set win 28-26 to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the match.

The third set was also tightly contested as the Gryphons were determined to force a fourth set. However, the Lancers were eager to finish their weekend road trip here and now. The blue and gold had their most efficient set scoring 11 kills to just a single error. The Gryphons made a tight contest and battled hard but fell to the Lancers25-21.
