The Lancer men's soccer team earned a point at home this weekend. Windsor came away with a 0-0 tie against the Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday night, before falling 1-0 to the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday at Alumni Field.

FRIDAY vs LAURIER
Offensively the Lancers dominated and outshot Laurier seven to two. Laurier did receive three corner kick chances, while Windsor only had one, but neither team could capitalize on these opportunities.

Leighton Speechley-Price took three of the Lancers four shots in the game, trying to create as much opportunity as possible for his team.
Greg Chac earned the clean sheet in net for the Blue & Gold.

SUNDAY vs WATERLOO
The Warriors posed quite a challenge for the Lancers as both teams battled hard for control, creating a very physical match. However, neither team was able to capitalize on their opportunities.
Kyle Ruggaber created some chances for himself but was unsuccessful in finding the back of the net. The teams went into the locker room tied 0-0 at the half.

In the 60th minute, Christoph Bruckeder scored to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead. Windsor kept up the pressure and physicality they had throughout the game, but were unable to tie the score
