Riding a two-game win streak, the Lancer women's volleyball team headed to Escarpment country to take on the always tough Brock Badgers. The Lancers got off to good start, winning the first set but couldn't find enough success to win three, dropping the match 3-2 (25-22, 21-25, 21-25, 26-25, 8-15).
 
GAME FLOW
The Lancers jumped out to an early lead over the Badgers, attacking with zeal and scoring when they needed to.  The Lancers leaned on players like Paige Phills as they continued to stay out in front. The Badgers made a set out it late but the Lancers held on to take the set 25-22 to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
 
The second set was a counterpunch from the home side, as the badgers battled back to keep themselves in the game and took an early lead over the Lancers.  The blue and gold kept it close but couldn't get it done late, dropping the set 25-21.
 
In the third, the Lancers led early and looked good in the process. However, their lead didn't stand as the Badgers quickly closed the distance and forced a tight set. Just like the second set the Lancers made it close but couldn't close it out, dropping the set 25-21 and going down 2-1 in the match.
 
The fourth set started strong for the blue and gold. Windsor went out on an early tear and built an sizeable lead early. The Badgers, looking to close the game out, made a run late in the game and even took a lead over the Lancers, despite this the blue and gold prevailed, taking the set 26-24 to force a fifth set.
 
The fifth set was a forgettable one for the Lancers as they struggled to defend the Badgers attack. The Lancers dropped the set 15-8 and were never that close in the set, dropping the match 3-2.
