GAME FLOW
The Lancers offense came out hot to start the game hitting their first three long range shots and nailing an and-one in their first four possessions. The Warriors however, hit a few quick shots to tie it up midway through the first quarter. The Windsor offense got a lot of production from the backcourt duo of
Telloy Simon and
Lucas Orlita who led the Lancers into the first break up 25-16. Â In the second quarter the hosts moved the ball and made shots in addition to playing some great defense on their way to a 53-39 lead at halftime.
Â
In the second, the Lancers kept the three-point shot falling as they continued one of their best offensive showings of the season. Simon continued his strong play, proving nearly impossible to guard for the Warriors and a willing bruiser on the glass, to help Windsor lead 77-62 heading into the final quarter. The blue and gold scoring in the fourth quarter led by a host of Lancers in double digits. The Lancers also clamped down on defense with Kennedy swatting two shots in the fourth quarter back to back. The Lancer big plays went a long way in the big win as the Lancers took the contest, 100-85.
