The Warriors found the back of the net three more times in the opening period, running to a quick 4-0 lead.

Ian Parker scored the only goal of the night for Windsor, putting the puck past Waterloo goaltender Trevor Martin on the power play to end the period.

The second period saw the Lancers collect themselves defensively, limiting the Warrior's scoring opportunities to only seven shots.

However, unable to capitalize on their own opportunities, the blue and gold struggled to compete against the early margin established in the opening period.

As the visitors struggled to form an offence in the third period, the Warriors found the back of the net once more before the final buzzer taking the game 5-1.
