Game Recap: Men's Hockey |

Lancers fall to Warriors in Waterloo

After beating the Warriors 7-0 in their first confrontation of the season, the Lancers men's hockey team were not ready for the offensive attack they found themselves competing against.

Falling behind early in the game, the Lancers found themselves in a hole that they were unable to climb their way out of, losing the game 5-1.

GAME FLOW
The Lancers found themselves trailing early, as the Warriors found their way on the board 20 seconds into the game.

The Warriors found the back of the net three more times in the opening period, running to a quick 4-0 lead.

Ian Parker scored the only goal of the night for Windsor, putting the puck past Waterloo goaltender Trevor Martin on the power play to end the period.

The second period saw the Lancers collect themselves defensively, limiting the Warrior's scoring opportunities to only seven shots.

However, unable to capitalize on their own opportunities, the blue and gold struggled to compete against the early margin established in the opening period.

As the visitors struggled to form an offence in the third period, the Warriors found the back of the net once more before the final buzzer taking the game 5-1.
