GAME STATS
Laurier's Kemel Archer led all scorers on the floor with 21 points on 9-for-14 shooting. The Lancers were led by
Thomas Kennedy and his 17-point performance.
Kennedy and Archer both dropped double-doubles. Kennedy adding 14 rebounds to his 17 points, and Archer with 21 points and 14 boards.

GAME FLOW
The first quarter was a defensive battle between the two squads. Both teams struggled from the field, with neither hitting the 40 per cent mark. Whatever points the Hawks could muster came from behind the line while the Lancers relied heavily on guard
Telloy Simon for offense in the first quarter. The Lancers offense continued struggling from deep but picked up their field goal percentage. Despite the offensive improvement the Lancers were still looking for more consistent offense and went into the break down 29-38.
The offensive struggles continued for the blue and gold in the third quarter, while the Hawks were getting inside with ruthless efficiency. Windsor barely remained within striking distance as Laurier took a 66-47 lead heading into the final quarter. In the fourth the Golden Hawks built their lead and continued to give the Lancers all kinds of problems, eventually beating Windsor 78-65.
QUOTE FROM THE COACH
"These past two regular season games really taught us a lot about this league and our team," said head coach Chris Chend. "This is positive for us because it gives us evidence to where we are and where we need to be. Now its time to make those adjustments."
