GAME FLOW

Thankfully for the blue and gold, the struggles were only confined to offense, and they played some very solid defense to give themselves a chance despite their shooting. After one the Lancers were down 24-11 but had to feel good about their defense giving them a chance.
In the second quarter the Lancers offense showed some life, with Kennedy hitting a few shots and drawing a few fouls to spark the offense. Without hitting a single three, Windsor scored 23 points on 50 per cent shooting to close the gap at halftime, 42-34.
The Lancers hot shooting continued into the second half, as they shot a hot 57 per cent from the field in the third. Led by freshman guard
Shakael Pryce, the Lancer offense hummed along to one of its best quarter all year. Meanwhile the Laurentian offense floundered, going 3 for 12 from the field.
With the blue and gold only down three, 61-58, the fourth quarter was incredibly entertaining with both teams battling hard for a win. Kennedy grabbed the Lancers' first lead of the game with 6:20 to go, and 30 seconds later,
Telloy Simon hit a three to put the Lancers up 70-65. Though Laurentian made it close, they couldn't catch the as the blue and gold won their first game of the season, 81-78.
