The Lancer women's hockey team dropped a 4-1 to decision to the Nipissing Lakers on Friday afternoon in North Bay, ON.

The loss leaves the blue and gold still searching for their first win of the season heading into an afternoon tilt with the Laurentian Voyageurs tomorrow afternoon in Sudbury.

After a scoreless first period, the Lakers jumped out to a two-goal lead with markers from Mallory Dominico and Teagan Feltz.

Windsor's Victoria Sudyeko scored her first OUA career goal at 17:59 of the middle frame to cut the Lakers lead in half heading into the intermission.

Dominico and Feltz would each score again in the third to seal the victory for the host team.

Jaydlin Spooner made 25 saves for Windsor in the loss, while Danika Ranger picke dup the win in net for the Lakers, finishing the game with 16 saves.
