GAME FLOW
The Lancers got out to a decent start in the first set. The Gryphons, also battling for playoff hopes kept it close, making it a one point affair at the first technical timeout, 16-15 in favour of the Lancers. Despite the Gryphons tying the game shortly after, the latter part of the half belonged to the blue and gold as they went on a 9-6 run capped by an Ally Winik kill to take the set 25-22, going up 1-0.

The second set was all Guelph from the beginning. The visitors jutted out to a 3-0 lead and kept their lead throughout the set, culminating in a 16-5 lead at the technical. The Lancers didn't fare much better after the break, stumbling to a 25-12 loss, tying the match 1-1.

The blue and gold rebounded nicely in the third set. Like the first set the Lancers got things going early and rode the early momentum, playing some solid defense as well. At the technical timeout the home side earned themselves 16-10 lead. The blue and gold gave up just six points afterwards on route to a 25-16 win, putting Windsor up 2-1.

The Lancers came out firing in the fourth set, jumping on the Gryphons 6-2 in the early going. The blue and gold spread the attack nicely and continued their spirited play from the third and first set. The Gryphons couldn't quite close the gap, continuing to trail 16-12 at the technical. The Gryphons problems only got worse after the timeout with Alana Gyemi calling game with a kill to seal the match, 25-15 and 3-1.
