The Windsor Lancers dropped their second game of the weekend 3-0 to the Laurier Golden Hawks. The Lancers had some tough terrain to work with on a wet field, however, it was the Laurier attack that gave the Lancers the most problems.
Â
The blue and gold gave up opportunities early and it cost them as Mackenzie D'Andrade beat
Lauren Gellner to put the home side Hawks up 1-0 in the 24th minute. Just 30 seconds later, D'Andrade assisted to Jennifer Borean to double the Laurier lead. Laurier's Gagan Pahar tripled the Laurier lead in the 78th minute. The Lancers created some chances but couldn't convert, dropping the game 3-0.
Â
Despite the loss the Lancers have some things to look forward to. First year
Alexa Mognon played a great game for the Lancers, creating multiple chances for the visitors.
