Lancers win third straight Humber Cup

For the third straight year, the Lancer men's volleyball team captured the Humber Cup to open their exhibition season, this past weekend in Hamilton, ON.
 
Windsor went 4-0 in pool play with victories over the Geants de Richelieu (3-1), the Nipissing Lakers (3-1), the Toronto Varsity Blues (3-0) and Durham College (3-1).  
 
In the playoffs Sunday, Windsor swept Limoilou 3-0 to advance to the finals against the Western Mustangs. In the final, the Lancers played a tough match against their OUA division rivals and came away with a 3-1 victory to earn their third straight tournament title.
 
Fourth year setter Nolan Langley was named Tournament MVP for the second straight year, while teammate Roland Bouchard was named to the tournament all-star team.
 
The Lancers will next travel to St. Catharine's, ON to play in the Brock Badgers tournament.
