GAME FLOW
The blue and gold came out of the gate firing, keeping pace with the Ravens early. Unfortunately for the Lancers though their momentum would fade as the quarter went on, shooting just 40 per cent from the field over the opening quarter. The Ravens meanwhile lived up to their hot shooting reputation, leading the Lancers 25-16 after one. Carleton kept the pressure on Windsor in the second and began to run up their lead, trying to end it before halftime. The Lancers stayed fighting though and put on a mini run towards the end of the half, momentarily making it a 13-point game. Despite the run though the Lancers had a 19-point deficit to deal with, down 48-29 at the break.
Â
Windsor played much better defence in the third quarter holding the Ravens without a three the entire frame. However, Carleton were still able to put the finishing touches on a dominant night, besting the Lancers 109-64.
