Windsor competes at OUA Curling Championships

The Lancer Curling team hit the ice this past weekend at the OUA Championships in Guelph, ON.

Under co-head coaches Mike McKay & Phil Daniel, the Blue & Gold showed promise and improvements from last season.

On the women's side, the Lancers improved their record from 2019, winning two of their games throughout the tournament.

After opening the tournament with a loss to the Queen's Gaels, the Lancers went on to win their next two contests, shutting out the Algoma Thunderbirds 3-0 and doubling up on the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 4-2.

On the men's side, skip Graham Dolsen and the Lancers were challenged right from the start, opening the weekend with a narrow 5-4 loss to the Western Mustangs.

Although the Lancer men did not come away with a victory in any of their games, they showed promise in each of their contests.
