The Lancer Curling team hit the ice this past weekend at the OUA Championships in Guelph, ON.
Â
Under co-head coaches
Mike McKay & Phil Daniel, the Blue & Gold showed promise and improvements from last season.
Â
On the women's side, the Lancers improved their record from 2019, winning two of their games throughout the tournament.
Â
After opening the tournament with a loss to the Queen's Gaels, the Lancers went on to win their next two contests, shutting out the Algoma Thunderbirds 3-0 and doubling up on the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 4-2.
Â
On the men's side, skip
Graham Dolsen and the Lancers were challenged right from the start, opening the weekend with a narrow 5-4 loss to the Western Mustangs.
Â
Although the Lancer men did not come away with a victory in any of their games, they showed promise in each of their contests.
