GAME FLOW
Windsor came out on fire scoring just 23 seconds into the game when first year
Maggie Peterson registered her fifth goal of the season to put the Lancers up 1-0. They held the one goal lead heading into intermission.
Â
In the second, the hosts tied it up with a power play goal a minute and a half into the frame. The Lancers retook the lead at the 15:13 mark with a goal when
Amy Maitre accepted a pass from
Kendi Lundell and she popped it behind Ridgebacks goaltender Celine Tessier. Â
Â
Kristen Swiatochik made a number of great saves to keep the Lancers head in the third but Jamie Bullied managed to get one by her a few minutes in to once again tie the game. The Ridgebacks power play unit struck again at 15: 37 of the third to take the lead and go on to earn the victory.
