Lancer Rec will be partnering with the Office of Student Experience to host a Welcome Week Esports Tournament on Saturday September 12. There will be three different tournaments taking place with a $50 prize for each winner.
 
The registration period is now open. Students can register for free for FIFA 20 PS4, NBA 2K20 PS4, and Rocket League 2v2 by visiting imleagues.com/windsor. Be sure to create an account or sign in to an existing account.
 
The start time of each tournament will differ so that students can register for more than one game if they prefer. FIFA will begin at 1pm, Rocket League will begin at 2pm, and NBA will begin at 3pm. The registration deadline is Thursday September 10 @ 10pm and then a schedule will be created.
 
All communication will be virtual. Students will report their scores to the sport manager immediately after their game and the manager will contact the participants with the information they need and the time of their next game.
 
There will also be a stream taking place for the Rocket League 2v2 tournament. This can be viewed throughout the competition on the UWinEsports Twitch page.
 
The winners of each of the tournaments will receive a $50 gift card prize, courtesy of the Office of Student Experience. You must be a University of Windsor student to participate and be eligible for the prize.
