Thanks to the efforts of the HK Equity Committee and the Anti-Racism sub-committee the Faculty has structured an opportunity for learning, introspection, reflection and personal growth through the 21-day racial equity challenge.

Monday February 1st marks the first day of Black History Month. This month long celebration allows us to focus on and celebrate Black History. It also presents us with an opportunity for reflection on our own experience, and the experiences of others, related to racial inequity.

Starting February 1st resources will be shared each weekday, with the conversation continuing into the month of March. Weekly discussions will occur each Friday to allow for reflection and the sharing of experiences.

For 21 days, perform one action to further your understanding of power, privilege, supremacy, oppression, and equity. See below for a summary of readings, videos, observations, podcasts, and ways to form and deepen community connections.
