During the home-and-home series against the Waterloo Warriors, the Lancer men's soccer team fell to the Warriors 4-0 on Sunday at Warrior Field.
With the loss against Waterloo, the blue and gold are now 1-4-1 on the season.
The Warriors were able to put ten shots on goal against the Lancers this past weekend, while Windsor was limited to two shots on goal.
Brandon Gaudreau made six saves in the loss.
Through the first half of the game Windsor's defense was put to the test as the Warriors looked to push the pace and find any openings on the field to create opportunities. Waterloo was able to find the net and score past our blue and gold keeper to give them a 1-0 lead. The Warriors were looking to take control of the game heading into the break and scored two more goals by Matheus Mello and a free kick by Sebastian Guerrieri. As the Lancers struggled to gain possession, they were not able to make the breakthrough they were hoping for and were edged out by the Warriors 4-0.
