GAME FLOW
To open the first period, both teams came out with energy and the Lancers were hungry for redemption after Friday's loss to the Warriors. With a quick pace opening period up and down the ice, the teams remained scoreless after the first.

In the second period, Windsor started to get into the rhythm and play a strong offense, having better communication between passes and opening up opportunities for the team. Olson was able to give the squad the first lead in the game and sixth goal of his season with a powerful one timer that went past the glove side of Warrior goaltender, Dan Murphy. Waterloo struggled to find their way past the Lancer defense but came up with close opportunities when Alex Gritz tipped the puck into the net but it was called off due to a high stick. After receiving a slashing call, the Warriors had an advantage to push the pace but once at full strength, the Lancers were back on with confidence. Anthony Stefano extended the lead for the blue and gold and held a 2-0 lead into the break.

The final period kept the Lancers on the attack and continued to apply the pressure. With another shot for Windsor, Ryan Shaw picked up an unassisted goal to keep the Lancers up. The Warriors responded late with a goal by Jacob Cascagnette but as the period came to an end, Windsor was able to take the game 3-1.
