Tyler Jette scored the visitors lone goal while goaltender Christian Cicigoi made 36 saves.

GAME FLOW
The Lancers and Thunderwolves started the game with the same intensity as Friday night's game with lots of movement up and down the rink. As Lakehead felt the pressure to come back with another win, Windsor found themselves using the built-up tension to push themselves forward and demonstrating more effective communication. With time running out of the first period, both teams struggled to find an opportunity to make a play and the game was tied at zero.

The second period had the blue and gold bursting with energy, desperate for a goal. With the Lancers offense locked down, Brady Hinz started off their scoring streak after the puck bounced off and found its way past Lakehead goaltender Christian Cicigoi. From there, the physicality increased as the Thunderwolves found themselves stuck and unresponsive to the Lancers offense. With 12:30 left in the period, Mason Kohn's pass to Matt Dorsey led to another goal to extend the squads lead 2-0. The Lancers last goal of the period came from Hunter Holmes  who turned on the jets from a quick turnover pass and put Windsor up 3-0 heading into the second intermission.

In the third period, Windsor made a team effort to prove to Lakehead they were a challenging opponent that could capitalize when they needed to most. After Nolan Gardiner was called for tripping, a domino effect of penalty after penalty saw the teams continuously pushing back for control of the game. The Thunderwolves got on the scoreboard with six minutes remaining off a shot by defenseman Tyler Jette. Lancer goaltender Nathan Torchia made a number of great saves, especially on the glove side, to prevent Lakehead from adding to their score. Grant Spence added his goal late in the game to secure the win for the blue and gold.
