Lancer women's hockey head coach
Deanna Iwanicka is pleased to announce the addition of Madison Hollohan to the women's hockey program for the 2024-25 season.Â
Â
Hollohan is a 5'8 forward born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario, playing her last seven seasons with the Sudbury Lady Wolves. Hollohan's accolades include being asked to play on the Rush all-star team in Toronto in June 2022.Â
Â
Coach Iwanicka looks forward to adding Hollohan to the roster in the 24-25 season. Iwanicka states "Hollohan will be a strong offensive presence, helping the team on the faceoff and on the scoreboard. She has shown time after time she can be strong and consistent in these areas."
Â
Hollohan currently attends St. Charles College and is a member of the Hockey Canada Skills Academy Program as well as the Cards hockey team. She believes the University of Windsor will continue to facilitate her love of the sport she began to develop at the age of three years old. She loves the collaborative sport attitude and winning as a team mindset.
Â
"I chose to play for the University of Windsor because of the professional approach from everyone involved in the process. From the current players, the scouts, the coaches, and the welcoming reception by the staff at the University, I'm really looking forward to working on my game with the Lancers." states Hollohan. She is grateful for the confidence the University of Windsor has given her and is excited to continue her love for the fast-paced game.
Â
While time passes for Hollohan to join the Lancers, her free time consists of playing hockey with her parents and brother and having friendly neighbourhood games on the outdoor rinks in the winter months.Â
