After a two-half-month hiatus, the women's volleyball team finally made their return to the court against the Brock Badgers. The Lancers would play hard but lose in their return 3-0 (20-25, 12-25, 12-25).

The Lancers will have a chance to get this game back as they travel to play the Badgers this Sunday at 2:00pm in St. Catharine's.

Windsor's
Brooke Davis would have a strong showing in her return to the court, laying up 15 assists. Yalia Sealy contributed six kills and three digs, while Emma Shepard also contributed six kills. Defensively
Joey Hewick had 7 digs, while
Emma De Souza had six.

GAME FLOW
Windsor took an early 4-1 lead, going on a four-point run that seemed to set the tone. The Badgers came back from a timeout with tough play that cut the Windsor lead down to just one point. After some back and forth play, the Lancers would widen their lead by three tahnks to stellar play by
Aryn Markett, Sealy, Megan Gahmiah, and Davis. After an incredibly close-set, the Lancers would fall victim to a 25-20 Badgers comeback.

Brock came out swinging, starting the second set off by mounting a 5-1 lead. The Lancers would attempt to claw their way back, however, the blue and gold fell short as the Badgers would win the set 25-12.

Windsor started the third much stronger, going point for point against the visitors, tying the game at seven a-piece. From there the Badgers went on a 6-1 run and eventually take the set 25-12.

Windsor will look to avenge their loss on Sunday, February 13th when they head up to St. Catharine's to play the Badgers in a 2:00pm game time.
