GAME FLOW
Brock opened the game with a 7-0 run before Pryce hit a huge three-pointer to get the Lancers on the board. Despite the early Badger lead, some great defensive play from Simon and Kennedy kept the Lancers within striking distance. However, Brock's consistent scoring throughout the frame gave them a 29-14 after ten minutes.
Â
The Badgers ability to sink the ball from behind the arch continued into the second quarter and they held a 54-29 lead at the half.
Â
Kennedy opened up the Lancer second-half scoring with a three-pointer that got the fans in attendance on their feet. Pryce would continue this momentum with an incredible layup in traffic. The Lancers would outscore the Badgers midway through the quarter, playing their best basketball of the day. A behind-the-back pass by
Telloy Simon set up
Jake Polski for his first basket of the day. This was followed by a timeout by the Badgers in an attempt to halt the Lancers growing confidence and momentum.
Â
The break seemed to meet the Badgers goal as they came out of the timeout with renewed vigor. Leading 77-49 heading into the final frame, the Badgers would once again utilize the three point line en route to victory.
