The Lancer men's basketball team's season came to a close on Wednesday night following a 101-77 loss to the Lakehead Thunderwolves in the first round of the OUA playoffs.
 
STATS
Thomas Kennedy would lead the Lancers with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Ziphion Grant would contribute 18 points while Telloy Simon would put up 11 in the last game of his Lancer career.
 
GAME FLOW
Windsor took an early lead to open the game, but the host Thunderwolves didn't let that last long and 17-11 after the first ten minutes.
 
The blue and gold would continue to battle their way back throughout the game but Lakehead's ability to the consistent three would be the difference maker in the game. The Thunderwolves outscored the Lancers 35-17 in the third quarter to lead 86-50 heading into the final frame.
 
In the fourth quarter Windsor put up an impressive 27-points but it was not enough to erase the lead built by Lakehead earlier in the game.
