GAME FLOW
After a back-and-forth start, the Lancers started to gain momentum as play from Phills, Davis, and Sealy gave the Lancers a 5-point lead. Lakehead had a few good plays that kept them in the game, but Windsor would break away after the technical time out to win the set 25-14.

The Thunderwolves would show their resilience by cutting away at the Lancers lead. A Megan Gahmia spike would be a turning point as it proved to be a momentum booster, getting the fans, the bench, and the women on the court hyped up. A last-ditch effort by Lakehead would come up short, with the Lancers taking the second set with the same 25-14 score.

The Lancers would take an early 8-3 lead over the Thunderwolves to start the third set, forcing a Lakehead timeout. The two squads would go blow for blow midway through the set, with Lakehead eventually gaining a lead. The Lancers would battle their way back into the game, tying the game up at 20-20.
