The Lancer women's soccer team got back in the win column this weekend with a 1-0 shutout victory over the host Algoma Thunderbirds on Sunday afternoon.
 
Staring in her first OUA career game, goalkeeper Jordan Samping earned her first OUA career shut out in the victory.
 
Aislynn Essibrah scored her first goal of the season at the 45 minute mark on a penalty kick.
