The Lancer women's hockey team earned their fifth straight victory with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Western Mustangs on Saturday afternoon in London.

Kristen Swiatoschik was impressive in net once again, turning aside 32 saves to earn her eighth win of the season.

Elizabeth Gauthier put the hosts up 1-0 with a shorthanded goal at 10:53 of the first period. Windsor did not let them lead for long as they added their own special teams goal at 14:16 when
Emily Eikelboom scored on the power play. The teams went into the intermission tied 1-1.

Windsor put themselves up 2-1 just under the four minute mark when second year Lancer
Rorie Ringor scored her first goal of the season off a pass from
Darcee Hall. It was another quick minute between goals as the hosts tied up the game at 5:07 with a goal from Alyssa Wouda to send the game into the second break deadlocked at two.

After a scoreless third period, it only took 31 extra seconds into the overtime period for
Maggie Peterson to find the back of the net and give the Lancers a 3-2 win.
