Women's golf claims bronze at OUA Championships

The Lancer women's golf team claimed the overall bronze medal at the OUA championships this past weekend at Grey Silo Golf Club.

Windsor finished third overall to claim their second straight bronze medal at the championships.

FINAL RESULTS

Marie Carunungan was named an OUA all-star, finishing tied for fifth with an overall score of 152. Kennedy Fremlin placed 14th overall and Vanessa Ardovini was 18th to close out the scoring. Gioia DiCiocco placed 30th overall as the Lancers displacer.

On the men's side, Steven Hill tied for 6th to be named an OUA all-star with an overall +1 (143), while Jarrod Smith once again claimed all-star status with a +2 (144).

Colin Karpala and Nicholas Tanovich tied for 56th, while Mike Berlingeri finished 65th overall.
