GAME FLOW
Some sharp shooting from the Hawks in the first quarter led to the visitors taking an early lead over the blue and gold. The Hawks shot an impressive 52.6% from the field, compared to the Lancers 33.3% to lead 26-19 after the first ten minutes.

The Lancers came alive in the second quarter and got themselves back in the game. The blue and gold went on a 9-0 run midway through the frame to tie the game 33-33, before both teams simmered down and no one scored for a full three minutes. The two squads then traded baskets for the remainder of the quarter, with the Hawks holding a narrow 42-40 lead at the half.

Windsor started the second half with eight straight points and went on to build a 15-piont lead before the Golden Hawks knew what was happening. In the final two minutes of the quarter, Laurier managed to work their way back and reduce the Lancer lead to just ten heading into the final ten minutes, 66-56.

The Golden Hawks made it interesting in the fourth, but the blue and gold were firing on all cylinders, building a nineteen-point lead with less than two minutes to go. A few Laurier timeouts were not effective in slowing down the blue and gold as they went on to win the game, ENTER SCORE.
