The Lancer women's hockey team dropped two games on the road this weekend against the Laurier Golden Hawks (5-0) and Brock Badgers (2-1 OT).
 
HOW IT HAPPENED FRIDAY
On Friday night, the women hit the road to Waterloo for an evening affair against the Laurier Golden Hawks. Laurier scored two in the first period, and three in the second to close the game and earn a shutout against Windsor.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED SATURDAY
On Saturday, the Brock Badgers opened the scoring with a 2nd period goal. Then, in the third, Jaden Cherry beat the Brock goaltender on a 1v1 challenge to get the clutch, tying tally to decide the game in overtime. Brock scored the game-winner on a penalty shot to make the final score 2-1.
 
UP NEXT
The Lancers remain on the road next weekend, heading up the 401 to Toronto. On Saturday, January 27th the blue and gold will take on the York Lions at 7:15pm. Then, on Sunday, January 28th the women will face off against the TMU Bold at 2:15pm.
