The Windsor Lancers women's soccer team picked up a point on the road against the Brock Badgers in a doubleheader this weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED FRIDAY
Teams exchanged chances early, but ultimately it was the Brock Badgers who produced in putting the ball behind the goal line, scoring two in the first ten minutes of play.
Â
In the second half, the Lancers geared up to try and come back from a 2-goal deficit. In the 62nd minute the women swarmed the Brock goal in search of a tally. There,

Vanessa Corry had solid strikes on goal.
Â
However, Brock sealed the deal on the night with a third marker in the 71st minute, making the score 3-0.
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED SUNDAY
On Sunday, teams saw a quiet opening half. While the blue and gold were successful in advancing the ball into Badger territory, teams were left with double goose eggs at the halftime whistle.
Â
In the 69th minute, following a corner kick play,
Vanessa Corry came in clutch with a goal for the blue and gold. However, the Badgers were quick to react, striking back one minute later.
