The Lancer men's basketball team hosted the Brock Badgers on Saturday at the Toldo Lancer Centre where they dropped a 91-81 decision to the visiting Badgers.

GAME STATS
Brock's Thierry Tshibola had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds while the Badger's offensive leader was Davante Hackett who had a game high of 29 points in the win over Windsor.Â

On the home side, the Lancers saw explosive offensive production from
Yohann Sam who had 25 points and
Emanuel Otong who sank 23 points through the hoop despite the double-digit loss to the Badgers.Â

GAME FLOW
The Badgers outpaced the Lancers offensively 28-20 in the first quarter and then followed up by adding an additional 27 points to Windsor's 15 in the second quarter which had the score at halftime 55-35 in favour of Brock.

In the third quarter the Lancers outscored the Badgers 28-19 in the quarter, but Brock still held a 74-63 lead going into the fourth.

In the fourth quarter the Lancers managed to again outscore the Badgers 18-17 but in the end the Badgers were able to remain consistent and close out 91-81 over the Lancers to serve Windsor with their sixth loss of the season to wrap up the fall term portion of the schedule.Â

The Lancers will now head into the winter break as they have concluded the 2024 portion of their schedule and will not return to the hardwood until the new year in 2025.Â
