GAME FLOW
To get things rolling in the opening quarter, Istvan Assisi-Dadzie successfully intercepted the ball and completed a 43-yard run for the blue and gold. Then, Danny Skelton capped off the drive with a touchdown, putting the Lancers ahead with just under 10 minutes left in the quarter.

In the second quarter, Skelton once again took the stage, connecting with Javonni Cunningham, who dove into the end zone to extend the Lancer lead.

The Gaels kept fans on the edge of their seats, however. With less than 4 minutes remaining in the half, Queen's first put up a 28-yard field goal. Moments later, Gael Alex Vreeken split the Lancer defence to reach Matt Camillo, narrowing the score to 14-13 in favour of the blue and gold at halftime.

Both teams looked to change the tide in their favour in the second half. Istvan Assisi-Dadzie stepped up with a solid defensive performance, helping the Lancers advance into Gael territory and making an immediate tackle upon reception.

Queen's conceded a safety early in the third quarter, adding 2 points to the Lancer tally. Daniel Hector then made a statement catch to secure a third touchdown for the Lancers.

With 5 minutes remaining in the game, Queen's crashed the end zone to earn a touchdown and added a rouge, bringing the final score to 25-21.
