Box Score The No. 5 Windsor Lancer football team was back in action on Saturday following a bye week. The blue and gold who were recharged and rejuvenated fresh off the bye week break hit the road and travelled up the 401 East to Toronto to take on the York Lions in Toronto.

The blue and gold took advantage of the week-long break coming out of the gate hot and not looking back cruising to a controlled 29-0 win over the Lions to improve to 3-0 on the season.Â

Brady Lidster managed to lead the way once again for the Lancers as he went 5/6 on his field goal attempts throughout the contest helping the Lancers' season record stay flawless on the campaign.Â

Corson Roy also had a strong performance after checking into the contest in the second half managing to create good looks to his teammates in the end zone to add two Lancer touchdowns to claim the victory on the road.Â

GAME FLOW:
Lidster's first kick through the uprights in the first quarter allowed the Lancers to take an early 3-0 lead putting the Lions on their heels defensively. The Windsor lead would then go on to grow off another Lidster kick later in the quarter to double up the lead to 6-0 following two kicks through the uprights on the York side of the field.Â

In the second quarter, a 41-yard kick from Lidster was successful and with his special delivery gave the Lancers a 9-0 lead to maintain control heading into halftime.

Coming out of halftime, Lidster did not stop with his perfect streak as he went on to score again through the uprights and make it a 12-0 lead up on the Lions.

The Lancers were not done yet in the third quarter when Roy's pass to
Matteo Trifon connected in the endzone behind the York defence turned the game into a 18-0 advantage before Lidster's plus one kick gave them a 19-0 lead to continue the red-hot momentum against the red and white team.

The visitors would not let up on the hosts going into the fourth quarter with a 19-0 lead which went from a game with a huge lead to a gigantic lead when Roy's second touchdown generating pass down to
Colby Ginn which gave the Lancers a 25-0 score before Lidster punted another through the iron markers to make it 26-0 on York.Â

Lidster would add one more kick through the uprights to seal the deal on the road and make it a 29-0 game which remained on the scoreboard until the end of the contest.
