Men's Soccer drops road trip to Western

The Windsor Lancer men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision to the Western Mustangs Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The blue and gold traveled to London for an afternoon showing at the Mustang's Alumni Field.

The Mustangs opened the scoring in the 16th minute.

Lancers Nico Fontecha and Connor Symons had notable chances in the opening frame. However, Western added a second marker in the 36th minute by a penalty kick goal, leaving the Lancers trailing by two at halftime.

In the second half, Lancer Tristen Rankine kicked things off with back-to-back shot attempts at the 46th and 48th minute markers. Then, Rankine returned to the attack in the 77th minute, hitting the post.

Mustang Luc Coulombe secured the win for the Mustangs by a hat trick, scoring in the 50th, 54th, and 71st minutes.
