The University of Windsor Lancers men's hockey team fell 3-1 to the Toronto Varsity Blues on Saturday (Nov. 15) afternoon at Varsity Arena in Toronto, Ont.

Dylan Schives scored the lone goal for the Lancers, and
Max Donoso made 28 saves.
Nicholas Surzycia made 32 saves, while Ryan Watt had a goal and an assist and Cooper Way drew two assists for the Blues.
GAME FLOW
Toronto had a strong first period, as they came out firing with twelve shots on goal in the first twenty minutes, scoring twice. Rylee Hlusiak and Ryan Watt each scored, with Cooper Way assisting on each goal. The two-goal Toronto lead held until the end of the second period.
Dylan Schives gave the Lancers life 37 seconds into the third period, scoring his fifth of the season on a backhand move in tight. Windsor made it exciting, putting 15 shots on net in the final period, but could not get any more past Surzycia. Brandon Santa Juana put the game away for the Blues with an empty net goal in the final minute.
